From August 25th to 27th, Shanghai's Cement Design Space collaborated with the Hong Kong men's fashion designer brand Karmuel Young to host the brand's first pop-up exhibition, exploring the boundless possibilities across various design realms

Established in 2014 in Hong Kong, the eponymous men's fashion brand Karmuel Young has consistently portrayed the modern male image with a unique aesthetic perspective and sharp contour lines

本次于 Cement Design Space 的呈现，Karmuel Young 以关键词“面料、版型、手工”为重点，展示了巴黎男装时装周2024春夏 Project 09 系列: 围绕现代雕塑和真空成型为灵感，通过利落的设计剪裁“雕塑” 男性身体结构

In this presentation at Cement Design Space, Karmuel Young focuses on the keywords 'fabric, silhouette, craftsmanship,' showcasing the Paris Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 Project 09 collection: Drawing inspiration from modern sculpture and vacuum molding, the collection skillfully tailors and 'sculpts' the male physique through sleek design

Cement Design Space 以大体块的几何感和克制的色彩分布，在材质、空间和结构层面激发了设计师的灵感创意。Karmuel 选择在一楼“白空间”的左侧设置主要的服装展示区，并在布置中穿插电视屏幕循环播放 Project 09 shoots

Cement Design Space exudes a strong geometric sense and restrained colour distribution, igniting designers' creative inspiration across material, spatial, and structural dimensions. Karmuel strategically places the main clothing display area on the left side of the first-floor 'White Space,' interspersing it with TV screens looping Project 09 shoots

“白空间”的右侧则是以人体结构为创作基础的珠宝品牌 MOU C.C.M.。为了更好的展示效果，品牌设计师 Mou 特别制作了四个自由形态的展示盘，使得总体视觉呈现更加完整和清晰

On the right side of the 'White Space' is the jewelry brand MOU C.C.M.. Inspired by human anatomy for its creations. To enhance the show's impact, designer Mou specially crafted four free-form display stands, resulting in a more complete and clear overall visual presentation

值得一提的是，设计师在 Cement Design Space 固定的色彩展示墙上，根据Project 09系列的颜色做了整体的重新布局。客人推开玻璃门走进来，不仅会被满墙独特质感的样板所吸引，也能感受到空间在色调和氛围上的和谐统一

It's worth mentioning that on the fixed colour display wall at Cement Design Space, the designer has reorganized the layout according to the colours of the Project 09 collection. As guests push open the glass door and step inside, they will not only be drawn to the unique textured samples covering the entire wall but also experience the harmonious unity of the space in terms of colour tones and atmosphere

另外，一楼的“黑空间”被设置为临时更衣室，幽暗的环境和恰到好处的灯光提供了绝对的私密感，让客人得以在独立的空间里安静体验服装与肌肤的直接触感

Furthermore, the 'Black Space' on the ground floor has been designated as a temporary fitting room. The dimly lit environment and well-placed lighting offer complete privacy, allowing guests to quietly experience the direct tactile sensation of the clothing against their skin in a separate and isolated space
